The musa Originally from Australia and south-east Asia and is related to the Musaceae.
The banana plant originates from the tropics and therefore keeps a lot of moisture. Regularly watering the leaf makes the banana plant very appreciated. The Musa requires a lot of water but, like so many other plants, is not allowed to stand in the water with the roots. Keep an eye on this. Slap sheet means too much water.
If possible, the plant also sets off in the rain. In this way dust and vermin are easily removed.
The banana tree likes to stand in a light spot. If you can place the banana plant a few meters from the window, this promotes the growth of new leaves.
You can repot the banana plant every year. It is a fast grower. The bigger the pot, the better the health and thus the ability to grow.
The Musa grows rapidly and therefore requires a fair amount of nutrition. Use standard houseplant food for this.
