The Oleander is a terrace plant and will thrive in the summer, the sunnier the place the better.
Give a lot of water at higher tempratures, especially give large ones a lot more!
Make sure that after a few rainy days the water can drain from the pot, it is not an aquatic plant!
In the spring, mix a lot of organic fertilizer into the soil and during watering regularly fertilize until mid-August.
Young plants can be repotted regularly. With older plants, you can apply root pruning to create room for fresh soil and manure. These roots can best be pruned at the end of winter. End of February in early March.
You only have to prune the oleander plant if it grows too big, you do not have to cut off flower stems that have flowered. You can later break off the brown twigs, because on the same branches the second and following years come again with new flowers.
Place the plant in a light place in the winter (4 to 8 degrees C) and allow little water but do not let it dry out.
You can also easily increase this plant. The cuttings prefer to grow in cutting soil, however, roots can also be formed in a glass of water. The cutting time is from June to September. If the soil is slightly warm, the cuttings root within a few weeks.

Ik heb deze oleander op stam uitgezocht voor ons terras, een supermooie plant vol met knoppen. De verpakking was top. De plant is boven verwachting goed aangekomen. Ik ben blij dat ik de stap heb genomen om een plant via internet te kopen. Verrassend!
